Bosma Estate Winery

📍 1000 E. Houghton Rd • Outlook, WA

An intimate setting with vineyard views. I loved that Bosma Estate Winery is a farmer-founded and vineyard-first winery. The wine is amazing, you must try their club release, the Coalesce white blend. And ask about their labels, all based on great family history and stories. All of their white wines are done in stainless, making them bright and clean!

💡 Discount: Mention My Wine Walk for a 2-for-1 tasting here!

Treveri Cellars

📍 71 Gangl Rd, Wapato, WA 98951

We kicked off our girls’ weekend at Treveri Cellars, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better start. Treveri is all about the bubbles—so if you’re a sparkling wine fan, this is your spot. We grabbed lunch on their patio, which overlooks the valley in the dreamiest way.

💡 Tip: Be sure and purchase and bring a Kloveo Champagne Stopper to keep your bottle fizzy for a week! Get 10% off with my link.

J. Bell Cellars

📍 124 Purple Ln, Zillah, WA

At J. Bell Cellars there are Games, koi pond, and lots of spots for group photos. In the summer, there’s often live music in the evenings. This is one of my favorite wineries in the area and Stephenie, the wine maker, has produced some incredible red wines.

Two Mountain Winery

📍 2151 Cheyne Rd, Zillah, WA 98953

This stop was a total vibe. Two Mountain Winery blends laid-back charm with seriously good wine—and the family roots run deep here (four generations!). We lucked out getting to try their brand-new club rosé release—one of our favorite sips.

💡 Discount: Mention My Wine Walk for a 2-for-1 tasting here!

Airfield Estates Winery

📍 560 Merlot Drive, Prosser, WA  99350

Airfield Estates was such a highlight—beautiful wines, a welcoming vibe, and a touch of history that made the experience feel extra special. Their tasting room is in Vintner’s Village, which makes it super easy to explore more spots nearby. We loved their crisp whites, refreshing rosé, and the new sparkling wine. I may be biased, but their Viognier is hands-down one of my favorites anywhere.

💡 Tip: Ask about the WWII history—it used to be a pilot training base, which gives the name “Airfield” a cool backstory.

Coyote Canyon Winery

📍 357 Port Ave Studio G, Prosser, WA 99350

This was one of my absolute favorite stops—and not just for the wine (which was so good). At Coyote Canyon Winery, we got to meet Mike, the owner, and hear all about his deep family roots in the area. Then Justin, their incredibly talented winemaker, gave us a behind-the-scenes look and poured some of the most memorable reds and whites of our trip. It’s tucked into Vintner’s Village and has such a welcoming, relaxed feel.

💡 Tip: They stay open a bit later than most tasting rooms, so it’s the perfect spot to end your day on a high note.

Daven Lore

📍3103 S. Davlor PR SW, Prosser, WA

Perched on a hillside just outside Prosser, Daven Lore Winery is the kind of place you don’t want to miss—especially if you love scenic views, down-to-earth winemakers, and a good laugh. We started our day here and were greeted by Gordon, the owner and winemaker, who is a total character (in the best way). He’s celebrating 20 years in the business with a limited-edition Blanc de Blanc sparkling wine featuring his pup, Snow, on the label. Oh, and yes—you’ll definitely get to meet his sweet winery dogs.

💡 Discount: Mention My Wine Walk when you visit, and Gordon will hook you up with club pricing on your tasting!

Desert Wind

📍 2258 Wine Country Rd, Prosser, WA

Desert Wind is so much more than just a tasting room—it’s an experience. After leaving Daven Lore, we headed here for lunch and wow… the food was absolutely phenomenal. It’s the perfect mid-day stop with both indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of space to relax. We especially loved their new “Contact” wines—pure expressions of the grapes, with minimal intervention and max flavor. Everything about this place feels thoughtful and beautifully done.

💡 Tip: Come hungry, and consider booking one of their on-site suites if you’re planning to stay overnight in Prosser.

Where to get food wile wine tasting in the yakima valley

One of the biggest wine tasting mistakes? Not planning for meals. It might sound obvious, but when you’re hopping from winery to winery, it’s easy to get caught up in the tastings and suddenly realize you haven’t eaten anything substantial. Trust me—your body (and your wine experience) will thank you if you take time for a good lunch and a solid dinner.

Food not only helps balance your palate and soak up the wine, but it also gives you a chance to slow down, chat with your group, and take in the beautiful scenery around you. Some wineries even offer incredible meals that are worth the stop all on their own. I’ll be sharing a few of my favorite spots in this post!

💡 Pro Tip: For every glass of wine, drink a glass of water. It keeps you feeling great all day and helps you fully enjoy each tasting stop.

Lunch

One of the great things about wine tasting in Yakima Valley is that some wineries do more than just wine—they serve incredible food, too. Whether you’re looking for a casual snack or a full sit-down meal, these spots let you sip and savor without ever leaving the tasting experience behind.

Here are two of my top lunch picks:

  • 🍷 Desert Wind2258 Wine Country Rd, Prosser, WA
This place blew us away—not only with their wine but with their phenomenal lunch menu. It’s a gorgeous space with both indoor and outdoor seating, and their full bar serves a must-try Blackberry Drop cocktail. It’s the perfect stop to relax mid-day and refuel before your next tasting.
  • 🥂 Treveri Cellars71 Gangl Rd, Wapato, WA 98951
If you’re into bubbles, this is your spot. Treveri offers sparkling wines only and pairs them with generous charcuterie boards, hearty snacks, and surprisingly large salads. It’s an ideal place to kick off your wine adventure with lunch and views of the valley.

Whether you’re planning a girls’ getaway or just treating yourself to a wine-filled weekend, don’t skip the food—Yakima Valley delivers.

Dinner

After a day of exploring Yakima Valley’s wineries, a satisfying dinner is essential. Here are two excellent options that combine delightful cuisine with the region’s charm:

🍷 Wine O’Clock Wine Bar & Bistro – Prosser, WA

📍 548 Cabernet Ct, Prosser, WA 99350

Nestled in the heart of Vintner’s Village, Wine O’Clock is a family-owned gem that offers a seamless transition from wine tasting to dining. Their menu features a variety of dishes crafted to complement their wines, and the ambiance is both cozy and inviting. Given its popularity, it’s wise to call ahead for reservations to ensure a table awaits you.

🏡 The Prosser House – Prosser, WA

📍 1232 Wine Country Rd, Prosser, WA 99350

A short drive from Vintner’s Village, The Prosser House offers a chef-driven menu in a historic setting. Housed in a beautifully restored 1896 building, the restaurant combines rustic charm with modern culinary delights. Patrons have praised dishes like the “1896 Burger” and the “Prosser Dip,” highlighting the establishment’s commitment to quality and flavor.

Both establishments provide a memorable dining experience, each with its unique flair. Whether you prefer the convenience of Wine O’Clock’s location or the historic ambiance of The Prosser House, you’re in for a treat.

Wine Gifts we Love

Check out a few of these curated wine gifts that will round out your trip to the Yakima Valley.

  1. Yeti Wine Tumbler – Designed to keep all of your wine chilled, or maybe your morning coffee!
  2. Portable Charcuterie Board – This is a great portable way to bring snacks that you and yoru friends prepared. Check ahead of time, but some wineries will let you bring in your own food.
  3. Kloveo Champagne Stopper – I know, I know… Who needs this, right? Because you plan to drink the whole bottle! Humor me, you won’t be sad you bought this!

Have fun and enjoy the Yakima Valley! There are so many other wineries to explore there as well.
